My
name is Claudine SANTELLI
I've beginning to draw and
paint very early in my life at the age of 5 ,then
after school I entered ESAG , a graphism school
and learned technics of drawing and painting .
Twice my paintings have been selected for art
exhibition : in Vitry ,the november in Vitry salon
and in Paris the Autumn Salon.
I improved myself with 2 painters Waltraud Sonolet
and Jacques Davy in their studios. I learned the
jewellery technics :metal and wax work, enamel
,brass-ware and begun to create objects and jewels
.
I 've been having art works and jewels taken in
art exhibitions many times in Paris and Corsica
where I draw mostly in nature with water-colour
technique.
My themes are mostly imaginative : my dreams ,the
night ,the human being :female and male nudes
.
At the moment,I'm working on 3 themes:
-the women -the inside
-our unconscious , meaning the unknown part of
our brain hiden deep inside.
I use oil painting on canvas , wood or paper ,
water-colour , drawing chalks ,collages in mixed
techniques ,tempera ,ink and many others techniques.
I use very different sizes for painting .
I'm very inquisitive ,I like to take risks ,I'm
hyperactive and perfectionnist.
I've learned music , dance ,I write songs poems
and short stories ,I'm a clown and puppeteer.
